Surroundings
The sunny Renon Plateau, with its mild climate and peaceful mountain scenery, is the perfect place to breathe deeply, slow down and reconnect with nature – a wonderful destination in every season. Spring brings colourful meadows, summer invites you to hike, autumn paints the forests golden, and winter wraps everything in a magical blanket of snow.
Thanks to its central location in the heart of South Tyrol, the Renon is the ideal starting point for exploring the region. Charming villages, spectacular Dolomite views and the rich culture of South Tyrol are all within easy reach.
Don’t miss the fascinating Renon Earth Pyramids – impressive natural sculptures shaped by ice-age clay and boulders – and a nostalgic ride on the historic Renon Railway between Collalbo and Soprabolzano. Our house mountain, the Corno del Renon, is perfect for hikes that start right from the Plörr or can be reached comfortably by cable car. In winter it becomes a small, family-friendly ski area – just right for beginners, children and everyone who loves relaxed skiing in a cosy atmosphere.
